The application of flock fibres at the ISO Flock factories is operated by machines, which are developed and implemented by our own. The fibres are electrostatically charged and shot onto the carrier material prepared with adhesive e.g.glove compartments, door bags, cases. Finally the fibres penetrate the gluten and coalesce.
Usually you can apply flock fibres to every surface, which offers a sufficent adhesion for the adhesive itself. Metals and plastics (ABS, PU) are best qualified for flocking, some other materials like PP / EPDM have to be prepared to achieve the best quality and a lasting customer satisfaction. |

We devide in flocking into flocking for design purposes and technical purposes.
The "technical flocking" is used for non-visual components, which need a flocked surface to obtain an optimal noise attenuation.
The "design flocking" is applied to enhance the optics and haptics of a component, which is obtained by the choice of the flock fibres.
The pre-treatment, the adhesive application, flocking and the final cleaning is processed with a high degree of automation.
Our highly-qualified production environment enables us to fulfill customers supplies for high-volume projects with over a million pieces a year. |
